Top Ten Tuesday: Longest on the TBR List

TOPTENTUESDAY

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) takes a look at the TBR pile and asks which books have been languishing on there the longest.

Here are mine:

  1.  About Time 2: The Unauthorized Guide to Doctor Who (Seasons 4 – 6)

  2. The Baker Street Letters
  3. The Screwtape Letters
  4. The Year of the Flood
  5. Ancillary Justice
  6. The Searchers: The Making of an American Legend
  7. Broken Homes
  8. Star Wars: Scoundrals
  9. City of Stairs
  10. The Three Body Problem

  1. I’ve heard of Scoundrels! I may have even read it. It sounds fun. The cover has Han and company in a police line-up, as I recall.

  2. Screwtape is awesome no matter your beliefs on God. There is an excellent audio dramatized version, too, if that helps.

  3. What a great list, Michael~ I really loved reading Ancillary Justice. I know I’ll need to re-read it to get the most out of it, but it was a great start to a series. I need to finish that series, speaking of…
The Screwtape Letters was a really intriguing read for me. It took me a long while to finish it, but I got a lot out of it for sure! The format helped me read it slowly, too.
Putting this list together got Hyperion back on my radar, and I am SUPER excited for that. You can check out my TTT here.

  4. I really want to try Ancillary Justice myself. Hopefully we’ll both like it when we get there. 🙂

  5. A friend of mine suggested Ancillary Justice to my partner and I, and she just couldn’t get into it. I’ll probably give it a go at some point.

  6. Highly recommend Ancillary Justice! I would start there.
