Time again for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by the Broke and Bookish). This week’s topic looks at music and books. But instead of looking at the songs I’d like to see as a soundtrack for some of my favorite reads, I thought I’d take a different approach. I’m going to list some of my favorite music to listen to while reading.
- Star Trek: The Astral Symphony
- Fantasia Soundtrack
- Michael W. Smith — Freedom
- Yanni Live at the Acropolis
- The X-Files: Fight the Future Soundtrack
- Various Star Trek soundtracks
- Doctor Who: The Music
- Various classical playlists from Spotify
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
I’m sure there are others but these are some that have been in my rotation for years now and continue to draw me back.
MWS Freedom and A Charlie Brown Christmas are awesome. 🙂 My TTT
The Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack is one of my all rime favourites!
I love listening to it any time of year! 🙂
What a great idea – personally I can’t listen to music when I’m reading because I’m too easily distracted so I’m always really impressed that others can.

I can’t do music with lyrics. But these instrumentals can sometimes help my reading time.
